In general, applications are not accepted for the spring semester. In most instances, a personal interview is requested of all qualified applicants. An application can be downloaded from the Virginia Commonwealth University Graduate School Web site.
Completed applications must be returned to the Graduate School along with official transcripts of all graduate and undergraduate work (mailed by the appropriate registrar’s office), three letters of recommendation, and scores on the General Test of the Graduate Record Examination. The Medical College Admission Test or the Dental Admission Test can be used in lieu of GRE scores for those applying to the Basic Health Sciences Certificate Program only.
International applicants must apply through the Center for International Programs. In addition to the requirements listed above, International students must also report their scores for the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) exam. To receive a copy of the application for international students, please e-mail your address to the Office of International Admissions at cipia@vcu.edu or visit their Web site to download a printer friendly version.
